Our Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in geology and environmental science prepare students for a broad range of geoscientific careers, such as:
- petroleum or mineral exploration,
- environmental remediation,
- natural resource evaluation,
- natural hazards mitigation, or
- geoscience research.
Graduates find employment in the local petroleum and oil service industries, environmental firms, government agencies, educational institutions, construction and mining companies.
The Office of Career Services is a division of Student Affairs and provides services to UL Lafayette students and alumni in career planning, development, and job-seeking strategies. They are the major link between students/alumni and potential employers.
