Low magnetic field shield in Hamilton Hall
Sun, 09/01/2019 - 12:17pmThe new magnetic lab is nearing completion with the significant installation of a low magnetic field shield.
This shield can provide a quiet low magnetic field over a very large volume even when sited inside a steel framed building. The shield will allow paleomagnetic investigations.
