One of our undergraduate Geology students, Ms. Haley M. Benoit, has just won one of the two prestigious Leaf Undergraduate Research - Evergreen Award.

This award honors original work that will make a long-lasting impact to the discipline.

Her project is titled "Towards new phosphate geothermometer using dahllite concretions of the Thermopolis Shale, Wyoming using multi-channel spectroscopy"

Haley will present her research at the Geological Society of America - Rocky Mountains section in Fort Collins, Colorado next May 2023.
